Description
The report, Mapping the Colorado Basin Roundtable’s Water Policy Networks, is the result of a year-long research process involving 164 water stakeholders in Colorado. It explores how different water stakeholders are connected to each other, including the relationship between their beliefs about water policy and perceptions of success in the water roundtable process. The analysis found that not all interests have the same level of investment in the water roundtable process and these differences go beyond typical divisions of consumptive versus non-consumptive or east versus west. Five collaborative opportunities were identified that can help strengthen the Colorado Water Basin Roundtable process internally and thereby help the basin function more cohesively in interbasin issues.
