Colorado LINKS for Mental Health

  • LINKS has produced a short paper on financing strategies, called Successful Principles and Strategies for Integrated Funding to Support Models Like High Fidelity Wraparound. The paper, or tip sheet, describes principles for integrated funding based on the experience of three Colorado communities with High Fidelity Wraparound.  The principles can be applied by the state and communities interested in integrating funding to support any cross system model. Colorado Association for Infant and Child Mental Health 

  • The Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health is having a quarterly meeting on June 8th from 5:30-7:30pm at The Children’s Hospital.  The meeting will include a lecture by Joy Browne entitled “Growing up in the Hospital: Mental Health influence and outcomes for infants, toddlers, and their families.”

Colorado System of Care Collaborative 

  • The Colorado System of Care Collaborative will be holding a special meeting on strategic planning and goal setting for the Collaborative on Friday June 4th.  The meeting will be held from 9am to 12pm at the Jefferson County Juvenile Assessment Center, 11011 W. 6th Avenue, Suite 120, Lakewood, Colorado 80215.  All are welcome.

Colorado Youth Development Team

  • CYDT is holding a Networking Breakfast on June 25th, 9-11a at Platte Forum, 1610 Little Raven Street, Suite 135 Denver, Colorado 80202.  The goal of this breakfast is connect positive youth development professionals so that they can share practices, leverage resources, and coordinate efforts that promote a positive youth development approach.

  • The Early Childhood Councils Advisory Team will be meeting on Wednesday, May 26th at the Clayton Learning Center at 3975 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Denver from 8:30am to 4:00pm.  This meeting is open to the public.
