Colorado LINKS for Mental Health
- The theme of the LINKS BIG Meeting IV is Sustaining Integration, with a focus on strategies to use during challenging fiscal times. LINKS hopes to recruit national and Colorado leaders to speak about principles of integration, family and youth involvement, and integration with schools. The meeting will take place on Friday, April 17th from 9am until 4:30pm at The Colorado History Museum. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to rebecca@csi-policy.org
- The LINKS workbook on Family and Youth Involvement in Policymaking is well underway. Chapters will cover such things as recruiting, reimbursement, meeting structure, youth engagement, cultural competence, evaluation, engagement beyond meetings, and more!

Building Bridges for Children's Mental Health
- Building Bridges has a report available to stakeholders interested in learning more about the family, youth, and staff experience with children’s mental health needs in schools and other systems. The report is the result of eight focus groups and eight key informant interviews conducted in Mesa County: http://www.csi-policy.org/documents/BBMesaEvalResultsOct2008Final.pdf . A second report, available at http://www.csi-policy.org/documents/BBAddendumReportFinal.pdf , highlights the results on the same topic from an online survey for families and a youth focus group with the Youth Partnership for Health, the youth advisory board to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health
- The Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health and its community partners will be hosting its second Biennial Conference entitled Early Childhood Mental Health in Colorado: Confident, Competent, Recognized on February 12th and 13th, 2009 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado. The conference is focused on developing and promoting competencies for the early childhood workforce across settings, disciplines, and counties. The program features national speakers and local early childhood mental health leaders. The conference will highlight Colorado programs and agencies that provide state-of-the-art services that enable competent and confident professionals to work with babies, young children, and their families.

Colorado System of Care Collaborative
- Susan Colling, of the Colorado Judicial Department, will be coming to discuss the “Children in Crisis” curriculum on intervention skills and strategies for law enforcement officers at the next Colorado System of Care Collaborative meeting on February 6th, from 9:30 to 11:30am. The meeting will take place at the Tennyson Center, at 2950 Tennyson Street, Denver 80212. There is an orientation from 9 to 9:30am for new members.

- The Tony Grampsas Youth Services Program has released an RFP for an evaluator starting July 1, 2009.
