Jewlya Lynn, Ph.D., (ABD, 2007), Research Director, conducts community and stakeholder driven policy and evaluation research to better understand complex policy problems and help identify solutions. She has worked in a broad range of substantive areas including public health, mental health, education, human services, criminal and juvenile justice, diversity and disparities, and natural resources.
Denise McHugh, JD, Executive Director, has over twenty years of experience in the health and human services field, including work at the national, state, and local levels regarding legal and policy matters affecting communities, adults, children, and families. She has served in leadership roles with public and private agencies and championed systems integration projects and systems of care initiatives.
Rebecca Kahn, BA, Event Manager, coordinates a wide range of projects and events, including conferences, task forces, community coalitions, research projects, and the development of policy briefs.
Natalie Portman-Marsh, LCSW, Senior Project Manager, has 15 years experience in the mental health field as a clinician, program manager, and community planning facilitator. Through her facilitation work, she has engaged consumers, families, and staff and stakeholders from faith based, mental health, schools, juvenile justice, child welfare, older adult, and rural service systems.
Lyn Kathlene, Ph.D., Senior Research Associate, has over twenty years experience in academic and applied public policy research, directing multi-system policy research processes, and facilitating community action projects. She has worked in a variety of policy issue areas, including natural resources, land use, health and nutrition, and diversity.
Kiran Obee, MPA, Project Manager, has a broad range of experience in program management, community engagement and fundraising. She values collaborative, community-based approaches to addressing environmental and social policy issues.
Amy Engelman, Ph.D., Research Associate and Project Manager, has extensive expertise in youth-adult partnerships and community-based participatory research and evaluation.
Quinn Lung, MPA, Applied Public Policy Research Fellow, provides research support for CSI projects. He has previous experience in a variety of areas including property and casualty insurance; higher education public relations, marketing, and recruitment; and diversity and inclusion training.
