Happy Holidays From Your Friends at Spark Policy Institute
As you may have noticed, we recently transitioned our name from the Center for Systems Integration to Spark Policy Institute. We made this change to better reflect our organization's broad focus on igniting and advancing public policy and community change. While we have always focused on advancing change, we have come to realize that integrating multiple policy systems is only one of the many ways to solve complex problems.
We have expanded the services we offer to reflect the many routes public policy and community actually change:
- Spark Community Solutions: Our toolbox of affordable and timely training, facilitation, planning and technical assistance solutions for local communities to build the capacity needed to spark their own agents for change.
- Spark Fiscal Solutions: Online and in-person resources, including guides and templates, training and technical assistance for communities to develop strategies for managing multiple funding streams with different mandates and requirements. For communities that need an external partner to provide in-depth assistance and day-to-day management of complex governmental or non-governmental funding streams, we have launched a new nonprofit called the Spark Community Foundation. We're proud to have Denise McHugh as its Executive Director.
- Spark Evaluation & Learning: We believe evaluation and strategic learning are critical components of developing, implementing and continuing to improve public policy and community change. Our services include dynamic, real-time learning that can help organizations "do good, even better."
We also continue to provide comprehensive services, including assistance with the integration of multiple systems, policy development and management of complex projects seeking to implement lasting changes to public systems.
As we ring in the New Year, we look forward to working with you to help solve complex problems and ignite meaningful change in your community, in your state, and across the nation.
